Rusch Offshore Services is one of the few independent maintenance and service companies for offshore cranes. The inspection and modification of offshore cranes, such as those that are used on drilling platforms and production platforms on the continental shelf, is routine work. Rusch has a team of qualified technicians that are available with their specialist equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Rusch operates over the entire world and our highly specialized staff can be flown in to carry out tests, inspecting and repairing the most diverse technical failures and reparations.
For Engie, one of our very valued clients in the North Sea, we were able to make use of the different departments of Rusch. We bought a damaged crane boom from another offshore company, repaired and refurbished the boom completely, blasted and coated it, assembled every part possible in our workshop and installed it back to platform G16A with our offshore crew. All facets except the blasting and painting were performed by Rusch personnel under constant inspection of Engie.
We are very proud of our teams and the collaboration between the divisions. By now, we are already working on two similar jobs (and not just in the Netherlands), as well as a crane cabin refurbishment from a similar crane. Looks like a new niche for Rusch was born!
